Founded in 1975 in Tarnowiec, it produced high quality technical and artistic coloured glass. In 2011, the plant was purchased by Makora Krośnieńska Huta Szkła S.A., a listed company. After a year of operation, the glassworks was declared bankrupt. The main reason was the increase in gas prices – its consumption was half of the production costs. 141 people lost their jobs.
In 1982– 1991, Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz was employed as chief designer; in 1992–2007 – Jerzy Maraj.
